Welcome to North West Music Academy
North West Music Academy is a registered music charity based in a prestigious Grade II listed, four-storey building in central Barrow – originally the Cumberland Bank.
Our aim is to deliver high-quality music education, training, performance and recreation across all music genres including world, folk, pop, rock, classical and jazz.
Our magnificent Performance Hall on the ground floor is complemented by music education facilities on the upper floors.

We provide multi-genre music education for people of all ages. Under our roof South Lakes Rock School is going from strength to strength & our Classical Academy opened for one-to-one lessons in September 2023 offering tuition in piano, violin, clarinet, trombone, flute and singing with more instruments becoming
available.
